If you are part of the mature few we have on the site, then this is not addressed to you.
Feel the Beats is a community-oriented site, thus it should be obvious that I value every user on this site. And as such, I will not tolerate any abusive behavior of any sort between you all. Sure, if you guys are close friends, you can kid around every now and then; I'm not saying to stop doing what friends do. But unless you really know that person, quit saying stuff that may make that person uncomfortable. I know this has been addressed many times, but do not outright assume someone is hound unless you get to know them better. Do not assume someone is friends of hound unless you get to know them better. Do not assume anything about another user unless you actually know the user. Do not say immature things to another user unless you know that user is fine with it. Doing as such can in most part be considered cyber-bullying. And there are authorities out there that deal with cyber-bullying--do not make me contact them because of your behavior. In summary, grow up.
I have received complaints regarding this topic, that is why I write this. If I continue to receive further complaints, I will do whatever is necessary to alleviate the situation.
P.S. This is not a threat, but I will geolocation your ass and the whole site'll beat you up. This crap is so accurate that I will get within 3 numbers of your address. It's not some BS IP address stuff. If you keep saying stupid shit, you better close your windows and lock your doors 'cuz the mods are coming...  |

As it was previously stated, the forums are far from being in what could be called a "good state". I'd go as far as calling that a state of SHIT. JS noticed it and brought it to light earlier by pointing out things like THIS.
For those of you who would've forgotten it, Introduction forum is for introducing ACTUAL people, Q&A for questions not covered in the Tuts and Guides, which is where FtB-related guides go. The General forum is for stuff that's FtB-related, thus that could be interesting for the whole community, but doesn't belong anywhere else. Not-related FtB stuff goes in the two last forums and nowhere else.
But, in case some of you didn't notice, asking you to stop creating shit threads out of un-moderated and such does NOT mean that you're allowed to WASTE regular threads like here, or like "Makeshift the Genius", in the news (which has been cleared) despite the lack of seriousness in said thread.
Forums are certainly not a competition to see who can have the last word in any conversation, and they're not a way for (extremely poor) exp farming either. They're necessary means of communication in a community and one of the main spots visited by newcomers, who can admire fags' ruling around here. I won't let this place become a 4chan-like. Just because you're not spamming doesn't mean you can put anything in any forum. A single question mark isn't really what I'd call a proper reply. "I lol'ed" barely is, at least when it's not overused.
Also, moving on to a different point, forums are different from the chat. I might not be the best person to say that, not being a native English speaker and all, but try paying more attention to your grammar when you're posting in the forums than when you're talking in the chat or in the unmoderated.
And to end this, quit necrobumping threads out of nowhere as well. Just like spamming, or creating an alt, or a fake introduction, or basically anything funny that goes against the rules, crosses your mind and makes you want to do it no matter what, it was pretty funny once or twice. But brevity is the soul of wit, or so they say. I'll be merciless from now on. Consider yourselves warned. |

With all due seriousness, this is a disease that spread throughout most of FtB. If you don't know what Hound-mania is, it's the belief that any person not well-known within our tight-knit community is just another account made by Hound. Now, of course, he evaded his ban once already, but it will become blaringly obvious if he evades it again.
This disease has become so widespread that even Luna caught it, and I have to make this post to prevent this shit from traveling up the ladder. It's traveled too far already. It's hurting the community way more than it helps. If you see someone new come along, do NOT jump to conclusions. What kind of community becomes so wound up in paranoia that it becomes aversive towards new members? Not a community at all, I would think. If Hound pops up again before his ban is over, it will be obvious, and actions will be taken. |

This is a very crude estimation for charts/mo. It gets the month difference by using when you submitted your first chart and when you submitted your last chart and dividing that by 30.
Only those with 10 or more charts were included in this!
